Republic Day Celebration

Its one of my memorable days 26th Jan 2005.wake up at 6:30 am...and hurried to India Gate with Phuta...Buses were available only upto Chankyapuri police station...from there u have to walk at least 2 km to the India Gate...the heavy crowd shorten our woes of clod and long journey...arrived there at 8 am but no program has been started till then ...people were gethering there in thousands..programs were quite Ok..we were able to have a close look on the Prithvi ,Brahmos,Agni and some of the latest technologies in defense reaserch...the SALAMI being given by 21 Topes(canon)..those Zappers sound shakes us...one Jet fighter flew vertically to the sky like a rocket and performed some twist in the air(Phuta got afraid )...after a 4 and an half hour show we came back...our legs were haevy..stomach was an hungry elephant.after reaching had our meal and got a cool shower.
